7 Days Southern Circuit Safari, gives you an opportunity to visit two of Tanzania’s largest game parks (Nyerere & Ruaha National Park) and visit one of Tanzania’s famous parks the Mikumi National Park, the safari will include a boat drive experience, walking safari, bird watching and game drives.

  1. Day 1 Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park

    Pickup at your hotel Dar es Salaam in the morning with the guide then drive to Nyerere National Park, you will arrive at lunchtime at the lodge and take a short break before leaving for the evening boat drive in Rufiji expects to see hippos, crocodiles, and many birds of different species.

  2. Day 2 Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

    After breakfast you will go for a game drive, during a game drive, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffalo, and elephants. You may also be able to spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland, and antelope. You will enjoy your packed lunch and later drive back to your lodge.

  3. Day 3 Half Day Selous Game Reserve and drive to Mikumi

    Earlier in the morning, you will go on a walking safari, Nyerere National Park is also good for walking, the safari will give you an opportunity to make adventure in the wild get to know how nature relates to wildlife with humans as our guide explains every interesting thing that you will approach on your walking trip. You will go back to the camp for breakfast. After then you will go for an en-route game drive for great animal sightings including all the great favorites’ lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, and all the other major species like hunting dogs and birds. Later proceed to Mikumi National Park.

  4. Day 4 Mikumi National Park

    You will have a full-day game drive in Mikumi National Park or two half-day game drives. Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffes, buffalos, and elephants. If you are lucky, you may also be able to spot lions, leopards, and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands, and antelopes. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety.

  5. Day 5 Mikumi to Ruaha National Park.

    After early breakfast you will start driving to Ruaha National park which is the 2nd largest park in Tanzania after Nyerere National Park, Ruaha is home to about one-tenth of the world’s endangered lions some grouped in pride of 30 or more. The park has plenty of plants and animals that will leave you satisfied. The Ruaha National Park is also well known for its large population of elephants. Over 500 species of birds have been recorded here and make it a paradise to bird watchers. Most of the birds are residents such as Kingfishers, Hornbills, and Sunbirds but some are migrants from other continents such as Asia, Europe, and within Africa to the region for instance the White Stork. As much as the birds can be spotted all year round, the best season for bird watching is on the wet season.
    Other animals that can easily be spotted in the park include both Greater and Lesser Kudu, lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, elands, zebras, impala, African wild dogs, Jackals, and bat-eared foxes.   6. Day 6 Full day Game drive in Ruaha National Park.

  7. Day 7 Ruaha to Dar es Salaam

    This will be the last day at the park. After breakfast, check-out, one will start the journey back to Dar es Salaam and arrive late in the afternoon direct to the hotel.
